Yes they do!! I was the victim of a spell about 25 years ago and I almost died. Thankfully there was a hospital across the street. One of the people involved in casting the spell didn’t really want me killed and it saved my life. I was freakishly injured in a motorcycle accident (I was the rider not the driver) at the exact moment the spell was cast.

Witchcraft like every other religion is nothing but childish belief in magic, so of course it doesn’t work.

As a former pagan, I can tell you, magick is real. Just as prayer is real. What your friend tries to “cast” may or may not work, but if it does work, evil works will come back on her three times. 10 times as viewed in some religions. You should not mess with these sort of things haphazardly. Magick and prayer are not to be used for revenge. Unless you want that to come back to you…..

I’ve never experienced harmful witchcraft, but I do have Wiccan friends who claim to have experienced it. Whether what they experienced was in truth witchcraft, I can’t verify.
You could try telling this girl about the Threefold Law, but if she is filled with that much anger toward her ex, she probably won’t be willing to listen.
The Threefold Law is a tenet of Wicca that states, ‘Whatever energy you put forth will be returned to you threefold.’ It works for positive as well as for negative energy. Basically, it means, ‘What goes around comes around.’

If you love your friend, take the book away from her. She is messing with UNSPEAKABLY EVIL FORCES… noone can say what the ramafications of such activity will e but trust me, if you love your friend, you do NOT want to find out!!
Have you ever heard of “Making a pact with the Devil”?… Yeah. When she enters into any form of witchcraft, be it pagan in nature or otherwise… she is doing THIS VERY THING.
Go get the book right now, and when you have it, if you still can, take it and get your money back. If not, destroy the book.
I learned this from a video game; “Justice is not the only right in this world.” There is also grace, forgiveness, and mercy. (These I had to learn from real life.) THESE are the things you should be very practically teaching your friend… if you love her.

Depending on what she is doing.
I can tell you that most spells that are suppose to be with little potions here and there do not work.
I had a lot of people where I work telling me that things have happen through them through the form of santeria. which is a religion where spells are cast through the art of voodoo dolls, animal sacrifices, blood, etc.
which schocked me when one lady told me that her mother died after her mother in law had casted a spell for her to die.
then another lady came into our conversation that has happened to her too, where one day she started to throw up pieces of clothing with blood in it.
the truth is, believe it or not, you are messing and sacrificing your soul to the underground world. something you do not want to mess with.
and in the end, tell you friends, boyfriends comes and goes, by a year or two, things will be over. i considered that once for my ex that tried to hurt me for four years, i went to another college and now nothing happened. why would i risk my life, for an ex to make a pact with the devil? just tell her to go out, find other guys to focus on and to relief that hatred through something else.

First don’t dabble in things that you don’t understand. Yes negative energy which is essential to those types of spells can hurt someone if done correctly with proper visualization, there is backlash for the one who does the spell. I use the rule of three which states whatever you send out comes back to you times three. Any pain caused to her ex will hit her times three in a variety of ways. This kind of majick is not something an amateur should do most practitioners won’t do it no matter how long they have been practicing witchcraft.

the target of the spell has to be aware that the spell is being cast and to believe that it can effect him, otherwise, your friend is just throwing energy out into the air. she’s more likely to harm herself than anybody else.
also, books that promise results are nothing but BS. if you need somebody else’s spell to work magic, then you don’t know enough to be casting spells in the first place.

Chances are, if she hasn’t properly studied witchcraft or spell crafting in general, she will have little to no effect anyways.
Curses, hexes, whatever you want to call it, they do work, but only if you know what you’re doing (much like spells for positive effects as well). If you don’t do your homework, you won’t know how to work.
Would you want a someone to perform surgery on you if they haven’t gone to med school? Why cast spells if you don’t know how to use them? Besides, spells to affect negative change (caused by the caster) should only be used for defence purposes only. If (for some stroke of luck) she succeeds, she’s going to have to realize she’ll have to face the consequences of her actions, and take responsibilty for them.

Yes, they do work, so please do not mess with it. Any spell you cast to harm someone,will come back on you 3 x worse. So it would be best that you stay away from it at all costs.

They certainly can, yes. And doing such a spell WILL_HARM_HER. It’s like shooting a gun that fires out of both ends. Encourage her to not do such a foolish thing.
I’m FAR more concerned about this book she bought that actually teaches harmful spells? I’ve been a practicing Witch for over twenty years and have never seen such a book. If you know the title, let me know. If such a book is out there, the Witch community needs to know.
We don’t want anybody hurting ANYBODY.
