Black magic doesnt exist, Magic doesnt exist. wake up – we’re living in an industrial world with nothing overnatural. Pathetic

Ok that sorta makes sense.
I am writing a fantasy novel with one society that is based in Feminine Wicca.
The other is based on Medieval Monotheism/Catholicism.
@LVCIVSDEI If your only sources of information are web pages online then you do not get a full picture of Wicca. Thor’s Hammer and the lightning bolt show up more on Asatru sites which is Norse or Heathen Paganism. And is more male focused as well. Just cause you have not run across male symbols does not mean they are not in use and out there.
@elyssa7772
Ok i see but i never see those anywhere on Wicca sites.
I mean the symbols i always see are:
The pentagram.
The Triquetra.
And the triple moon. This: )O(
@LVCIVSDEI There are tons of male symbols . The sun is one. Lightning bolt is another. Fire and Air both are considered to have male energies (earth and water female) The sword&r Athame are male symbols. Horns and antlers as well are God symbols. If you type in male pagan symbols i am sure lots more would show up. The Greenman is a representation of the God of the forest and hunting. paganedumacation.blogspot.com/2010/03/male-symbols.html ios a link to a site that shows a few.
@elyssa7772
Never seen them.
I would use the Tribal sun as a symbol.
More powerful and less passive.
@LVCIVSDEI
Well how about the Greenman symbol this to me is male and symbolizes the god not goddess
also the oak and holly kings who each rule half the year!
plus there are numerous Gods
Pan Zeus Odin to name a few who are worshiped often by different sects
@elyssa7772
Let me rephrase that for you:
You show me one popular Wiccan symbol that symbolises the god and not the goddess.
Yes christianity is mainly patriarchal but at least we admit it.
No offense but that just the way i see it.
And yes i could be be wrong!
However i seriously doubt that.
Bless you.
But you don’t need spirits to work a spell or black magick on someone. Our intent is enough. Quantum physics has proven we can effect eachother thru will alone.
@elyssa7772
That makes some sense.
But i still don’t see why allot of women want to convince men that they have a “Feminine side”
I mean its just going to offend most men so….
@LVCIVSDEI no offense taken and how you perceive it can certainly be different than me. Much of the Pagan movement in the USA is heavily influenced by feminist political views. the one exception i have seen is BTW British Traditional Wicca that comes from Gardner or Alex Sanders in those paths gender balance is a more common trait. If you are using Wicca to describe self initiation or no initiation Witchcraft especially in US then there are more of the Goddess centric folks around the craft
@elyssa7772
Well i don’t see anny of that to be honest.
Not meaning to offend you but almost all Wicca symbols,spells,and rituals have to do with worshipping the “Goddess” And i mean all of wicca not just the Dianic,s.
@LVCIVSDEI Wicca except for Dianic Wicca seeks balance of male and female. Dianic Wicca or Witchcraft is often Goddess centered and ignores the God side of things or makes it less powerful. This is done in response to most religions putting women in an inferior position throughout history. I am not Dianic and not a political feminist so for me personally i try to balance male and female energies. i have went thru my own times when i was more Goddess centric myself but now strive for balance
@Finleeport correct this lady is doing public relations and like most of that kind of stuff she puts a spin on her words to not scare the non magical folks who might be interested in magic. But the more you study ethics in magic the more you learn magic is neutral the intention of caster may be good or evil or even neutral depending on their intentions.
@dquintero2216 those were candles not dildos and i disagree with this video because intention of caster makes a spell negative or positive and using color to designate good and bad is fuzzy thinking. i am not Wiccan but i am a witch for almost 20 years now. Magic or Magick (your preference on spelling) is real and Quantum physics tends to give some science to back up many witchcraft ideals of how magic works.
The extra k in Magick is an idea brought to occult study from Alister Crowley
@tiniatus In my opinion, “good’ and “evil” are just other ways of saying “positive” and “negative” These are forces that humans aren’t seperate from at all, nor do they apply only to humans. While I do think that humans carry something of a catalyst in them when it comes to these energies, the whole thing is relatively abstract. If that makes sense.
